The situation

STIHL is one of the world's largest and most recognized power tool manufacturers — the global #1 chainsaw brand. ST Ukraine, the company's official Ukrainian dealer, carries 1,450+ products across chainsaws, hedge trimmers, pressure washers, blowers, water pumps, lawnmowers, accessories, spare parts, and protective equipment. That range is a major asset — but only if buyers can actually navigate it.

The previous web presence didn't match the brand's quality, and it didn't help buyers make confident decisions. A buyer comparing chainsaws needs to filter by power, bar length, and engine type simultaneously. A contractor shopping for a pressure washer needs to match flow rate and pressure to a specific job. Generic e-commerce templates built around flat category trees can't carry this kind of technical depth — they lose buyers who can't find what they need.

Checkout had to work the way Ukrainian buyers expect: with Nova Poshta, the country's dominant parcel carrier. Buyers look up their nearest branch or schedule a courier by typing a city name — not by scrolling through a static list. Getting this right meant integrating directly with Nova Poshta's live search, not maintaining a dropdown that goes stale within weeks.

And once the platform launched, the ST Ukraine team needed to run it entirely on their own — publishing new products, updating prices, activating promotions, and reviewing orders — without waiting on a developer each time.

  • Product pages that build buying confidence — each product shows its full spec sheet, multiple high-resolution images with zoom and full-screen view, official STIHL dealer trust signals, and a recently viewed carousel so buyers can backtrack without losing context. Everything a buyer needs to say yes without calling the store.
  • Smooth checkout with live Nova Poshta delivery — buyers choose their delivery method (branch pickup, parcel locker, or courier), search for their city by name, and select a branch in real time. No stale lists, no guessing. Customer details and payment follow in a clean multi-step flow that works on any device.
  • Promotions and flexible payments — the store supports promocodes applied automatically at checkout, and four payment methods: cash on delivery, Nova Poshta COD, bank card, and bank transfer for business buyers. All B2C and B2B purchasing patterns covered without friction.
  • Full self-service back-office — the ST Ukraine team adds products, uploads photos, sets prices, posts news, and reviews orders directly from the admin panel. No engineering requests, no deployment steps, no waiting. The distributor catalog can be bulk-imported when new product lines arrive.
